Pineapple Lemonade (untested)

This recipe is written in fountain pen in Grammy's handwriting. I think it may be one of the older recipes in the box and may even predate the 1940s.

Ingredients:

• 2 cups sugar
• 1 pint water
• Juice of 3 lemons
• 1/2 can grated pineapple
• 1 quart water

Instructions:

1. Boil sugar and 1 pint of water for 10 minutes
2. Let cool
3. Add lemon juice and grated pineapple
4. Let stand for 2 hours
5. Add 1 quart of water right before serving
